Wow it’s been a real long time since I’ve added any thing into my blog…..
Well to cut a long story short I got a bad running injury in/on my right hip, I later figured out I was running in bad running shoes, a bad style for me :)
I still trained, kept up with my swimming and my biking and as much running as possible, I did a 1 triathlon in Provo Utah with my pain and did well in it, but after the race a few days later the pain was unbelievable, taking off time from running here and there, I did a few more local triathlons but just did the swim and bike…I did a masters swim meet and a few local bike rides with my friends.
A total of 6 months of inconsistent running, I decided to get new shoes, off to a local running store I went, walked in with my flip flops and a pair of socks in my hand, I let these guys do there magic at the store by doing treadmill testing and so on..
They found a problem straight away..put me into some stability shoes(mizuno) and I was cured …fantastic…. But now the session was coming to an end..
What do I do…September I decided to race Ironman Arizona on November 23rd my 28th BIRTHDAY …
I will do a full race report on how my day unfolded in a few days…
